Reminiscence

Follow an unnamed protagonist through their exploration of their abandoned childhood home. Through monologs and clicking on various objects once important to the character, a story unravels through comments and reactions. See their story through their eyes and uncover the secrets lurking in every shadow of that old, looming house full of skeletons and the past best left buried.

Reminiscence is a 2D visual novel about a young adult returning to their abandoned childhood home in search of closure. The story portrays the damage an unstable childhood and home can leave on a child and how the person perceives the places that were meant to be safe even years later. This story has been created as my high-school graduation project.
